In a warehouse, for simplifying the receiving and unloading process Barcodes can be used. After receiving the products, they are scanned via Handheld Barcode readers for verification with the invoice. The operator again using Handheld Barcode Reader to scan the items for storing. The items are placed in the available location and Barcode is scanned of the location. The two barcodes i.e. of the product and the location are now mapped in the reader and is transferred to the server via Wi-Fi on real time bases. While picking the items, a pick list is generated and sent to the picker in Handheld Barcode reader. The picker is sent to a location as directed by the pick list. The picker then scans the product barcode confirming the correct item and quantity. If the picker scans the wrong items, an error message is displayed on the screen of Handheld Barcode Scanner. The correct items are packed by the picker. The items are dispatched against the Sales Order and inventory is maintained on the real time basis.
